After travelling from Tamarindo to San Jose for several hours, the only thing I wanted to find was a place to sleep close-ish to the bus stop but far enough away from the red light district. Walking a little way along the Paseo Colon, I found the Molino Rojo, which caught my attention by having such a big building for a hostel! I loved the big garden inside (outdoors but safe is a rare find in San Jose!) and really there are very few places like this. The people working there really made the place though - I felt like I was at home.
