We have 2 Private Rooms each with Private Bath with hot water shower. This is a double bed in one of the rooms. Each Private Room consists of the following: a Double Bed, fan, chair, lights, electric outlet, luggage holder in one room. A kitchenette with cabinets and sink only (no fridge or microwave) as well as a twin bed, fan, light and electric outlet. The final room is of course a full bathroom with a shower (no tubs in Mexico). You also get the morning breakfast, use of communal kitchen, use of Common Areas, use of Jacuzzi,...

There are at least 12 Cenotes within 15 km of our Hostel. This pic of a lady snorkeling was taken at Hidden Worlds. These are fresh water crystal-clear water caverns and are great for snorkeling. Cenotes: Dos Ojos, Hidden Worlds, Caracol, Manatee, Caravera, Gran, Carwash, Cristal, Escondido, Angelita, Sac Be and Xbalanque (It is actually just south of Xbalangue and not named as far as I know).
There are at least 12 Cenotes
within 15 km of our Hostel.

Security Safety And Storage - Photos

We are located behind security gates. Our hardwood doors are locked at about 11 p.m. A key is available with your Cabana or Private Room key. If you are in the dorm, a hammock or a tent a key deposit is required. Locker keys are available with a deposit, use is free. We have luggage storage also. I have yet to take a photo of our lockers. A door bell is in between the doors if you come in on a late night/early morning bus, give us time we will answer.

Neighborhood Ambience And Annoyances - Photos

As you can see this is a small tourist town. We are famous because of our beach and what we are near too. We are located a block off the main road to avoid the road noise, and we are in a typical quiet Mexican neighborhood. Tulums crime rate is very very low and the police force is well equiped for such a small town because of it being a resort. It is safer than any Metro area in the world. Always be aware of your surroundings and dont flaunt your cash, every town just about everywhere has pick-pockets.

Rules And Policies - Photos

Rules are simple and are posted on yellow signs in the kitchen area. Examples: Drinking water is free at the hostel, but if you want to fill your bottle and take it out leave 5 pesos in the jar on the post. Clean up the kitchen when you are finished. Turn out lights and fans when you are the last to leave your room or bath. Visitors in common areas only and they must leave by 11 p.m. Doors are locked from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m. and you need a key to get in (unless you are just coming into town, then ring door bell).
